The Senior Product Manager - Unsecured Lending will focus on Personal Loans and provide support for credit card products where needed. The goal is to maximize profitability and business growth of the unsecured lending portfolio and drive integrated strategies by customer segment, product, or portfolio.


Main responsibilities include:



  • Assisting end-to-end product management of all HSBC's unsecured lending products with a focus on personal loans.
  • Driving product strategy, customer journeys, and implementing personal lending product-related projects and changes.
  • Monitoring product performance, underwriting outcomes, industry trends, and engaging with relevant internal/external stakeholders.
  • Managing and maintaining ongoing development of relevant Personal Lending products.
  • Overseeing strategic program roadmaps, development, launches, and marketing to maximise product performance.
  • Collaborating within Product and the broader business to provide insights into business performance and challenges.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field with relevant experience in the banking & finance industry and solid knowledge of personal loan products.
  • Experience launching new products from ideation to rollout.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
  • Leadership skills in cross-functional teams to define and achieve business goals.
  • Robust analytical background with financial/analytical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with interpersonal skills.

Prioritisation will be given to candidates with Australian PR/Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship, or current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
