We are currently seeking a highly skilled Return to Independence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will deliver exceptional results and drive positive outcomes for injured workers, employers, and medical practitioners.

About the Role
The successful candidate will facilitate face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals to empower them to participate in the return-to-work process. You will educate stakeholders on legislative requirements, premium impact, initial claim decisions, formal statement requirements, and advocate mobile case management services. Your collaboration with vocational providers will focus on achieving return-to-work and return-to-life outcomes for the injured worker. Additionally, you will attend medical reviews to promote early intervention strategies and educate the injured worker on utilizing specialists, services, and available support to achieve agreed-upon return-to-work goals.

Your Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in injury rehabilitation, rehabilitation counselling, or workers compensation claims management. A current valid driver's license is also required. You should be able to develop return-to-work plans using SMART principles, possess exceptional time management and organizational skills, and demonstrate highly developed communication skills. Case conferencing experience is highly desirable.
