Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Return to Work Excellence Professional to join our team at Gallagher. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to injured workers, employers, and medical practitioners, facilitating their return to work and independence.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical part in promoting early intervention and rehabilitation, ensuring that individuals who have experienced a workplace injury receive the necessary support to recover and return to work efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals, to develop and implement personalized return-to-work plans;
- Educate and inform stakeholders on return-to-work processes, legislative requirements, and premium impacts, advocating for early intervention and strategic case management services;
- Collaborate with vocational providers to achieve optimal return-to-work outcomes for injured workers;
- Facilitate medical reviews to promote the implementation of effective strategies and early intervention techniques;
- Educate injured workers on the benefits of utilizing specialists, services, and available support to facilitate their agreed-upon return-to-work goals;
- Develop and communicate Work Plans (Service Plans) regarding return-to-work processes, negotiating strategies, assigning responsibilities, and actions to be undertaken, providing clarification as needed and monitoring progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience and qualifications in injury rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling, or workers' compensation claims management;
- Current valid driver's license;
- Demonstrated expertise in developing return-to-work plans using SMART principles, with case conferencing experience being highly desirable;
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills;
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of organization;
- A strategic mindset and approach to work;
- A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration;
- A resilient attitude.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
