As a Claims and Compensation Specialist, you will be part of our dynamic team based in Darwin, where you will leverage your existing claims expertise or transferrable skills to deliver exceptional results.

We are seeking an individual with a passion for helping people and a strong background in administration, customer service, or a related field. A background in workers' compensation, claims, or other related disciplines would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, and other stakeholders regarding workplace injury claims;
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and triage of claims severity to identify potential barriers and implement effective strategies;
  • Coordinate the claims lodgement process, ensuring timely determination of claims by gathering key information from stakeholders and requesting additional information when necessary;
  • Determine liability for new, secondary, or reopened claims in accordance with relevant information and evidence;
  • Calculate Normal Weekly Earnings (NWE) for claims;
  • Document relevant information from initial claims lodgement summaries to support a seamless handover to Claims teams.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
