About the Role
As Claims Team Supervisor, you will lead a dynamic team of dedicated staff who manage workers compensation claims, promoting safe, timely, and durable return to work outcomes for injured workers.

You will be responsible for shaping our culture through high levels of people engagement, recognising the importance of diversity and increasing people's satisfaction levels and having pride in our goals. You will participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities, monitor service performance, provide coaching and professional support to your team, and promote compliance to our business processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Claims personnel with varying levels of experience within the workers compensation space;
  • Contribute to shaping our culture through high levels of people engagement;
  • Participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities;
  • Monitor service performance by establishing clear goals and expectations;
  • Mentor your team and provide them with coaching and professional support;
  • Promote a culture which ensures compliance to our business processes is adhered to;
  • Identify areas of opportunity within your team and the business and take any action to improve outcomes for our customers and people.

About You
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in team management/leadership, preferably within a high-volume and fast-paced environment, or significant experience in workers compensation claims management and providing coaching. You should have knowledge of general business and administrative practices, excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional time management and organisational skills, a strategic mindset, and a strong sense of team and collaboration.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
