In this role, you will guide managers and employees on HR policies, employment terms, and workplace matters. You will also manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.

You will be responsible for supporting performance review processes, training needs, and employee development initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and escalating issues as needed.

This is a true generalist position that covers everything from employee relations and recruitment to policy guidance and cultural initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Policy Guidance: Provide expert advice on HR policies, employment terms, and workplace matters to managers and employees.
  • Recruitment Management: Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Performance Review Support: Assist with performance review processes, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching.

Who You Are

  • A capable HR professional with 2+ years of experience in HR advisory or generalist roles.
  • Proven competency in full-cycle recruitment and comfortable managing multiple vacancies and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of Australian workplace legislation, modern awards, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; able to handle sensitive workplace issues with discretion and empathy.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
