Philanthropy Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Philanthropy Services Coordinator to join our team at The Australian Ballet.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract role that requires strong administrative and event management skills, as well as knowledge of philanthropy. You will be responsible for overseeing the core administrative and service functions within the Philanthropy business, including CRM and database, gift administration, financial processes, and event coordination.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
About the Role:
- Develop and share reporting to measure the performance of all philanthropic campaigns, activities, and trends in conjunction with the Head of Philanthropy.
- Oversee data governance and best practice use of Tessitura within the Philanthropy Team, including website integration.
- Set up and maintain a systems framework for Moves Management in Tessitura to support the team's fundraising goals.
- Utilise and develop Tessitura Analytics to support data-driven fundraising.
- Perform and oversee all database list-pulling for communications and reporting.
- Support the Team to maximise their knowledge and use of Tessitura to assist their day-to-day fundraising activities.
- In liaison with key departments, maintain Philanthropy business unit ownership of all applications used to support fundraising, including Donate2, Acoustic, TNEW, and DIESE.

About You:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience and knowledge of philanthropy.
- Strong administrative and event management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use discretion and ensure confidentiality as required.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suites, internet, and graphics.
- Proven planning, organisation, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- A valid Working with Children Check and satisfactory National Police Check (where relevant International Police Check).
Salary: Estimated salary range $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
