About the Role

As a Philanthropy Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful philanthropic initiatives through exceptional relationship management and strategic cultivation.

Job Description

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing and new major donors, implementing tailored cultivation, stewardship, and engagement strategies to nurture relationships and enhance fundraising efforts. Your primary objective will be to craft compelling proposals and applications that articulate the significance of our projects, maintain high levels of donor engagement, and ensure seamless data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in major gift fundraising or philanthropy
  • Ability to build, maintain, and enhance relationships with major donors and prospects through personal engagement, effective communication, and tailored stewardship
  • Proficiency in using and maintaining donor management systems / CRM with high-level accuracy
  • Aptitude for conducting research on prospective donors and analyzing funding opportunities
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling cases for support, proposals, and reports that effectively resonate with potential donors
  • Collaborative nature with a drive to support colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package estimated at AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
