We are seeking a highly skilled Philanthropy Services Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work with a world-renowned ballet company.

Job Description

This senior role involves supervising administrative and service functions within the Philanthropy business, including CRM, database management, gift administration, financial processes, and event coordination. You will take a lead role in supporting the front-line fundraising team with systems and processes to provide an exemplary donor experience and achieve fundraising goals.

The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have the ability to use discretion and ensure confidentiality as required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and share reporting to measure philanthropic campaign performance, activities, and trends.
  • Oversight of data governance and best practice use of Tessitura within the Philanthropy Team.
  • Setup and maintenance of systems framework for Moves Management in Tessitura.
  • Utilisation and development of Tessitura Analytics for data-driven fundraising.
  • Perform and oversee all database list-pulling for communications and reporting.
  • Liaise with key departments to maintain Philanthropy business unit ownership of fundraising applications.

You will be responsible for acting as a key liaison with the Finance Department to ensure accurate financial reconciliation of Tessitura and Finance systems. Additionally, you will oversee all invoice coding and facilitate dress rehearsal ticketing requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

This role requires:

  • Administrative and event management experience.
  • 2 years' experience and knowledge of philanthropy.
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office Suits, internet, graphics.
  • Proven planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check (where relevant International Police Check).
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits such as superannuation and professional development opportunities.
