Societal Support Specialist

New Horizons Enterprises Limited is seeking a skilled Societal Support Specialist to join our team in Port Macquarie.
We are looking for a passionate individual who can provide early intervention and support to people at risk of homelessness, currently experiencing homelessness, or living in unsustainable accommodation. As a Societal Support Specialist, you will work closely with customers to develop and implement personalized plans, build capacity, and enhance living skills.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing a caseload and supporting customers with their reintegration into society
- Providing information, advice, and advocacy using a person-centered approach
- Developing and reviewing case plans to reflect customer needs and preferences
- Partnering with local services to deliver the program
- Working with community corrections to identify suitable participants
This role offers a range of benefits, including:
