Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue in wet hire and plant hire services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the excavation and earthmoving industry.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Proposals and Contracts: Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.

  • Brand Promotion: Represent Fuse Recruitment at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance our brand presence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the excavation or construction industry, with a focus on wet hire and plant hire services.
  • In-depth knowledge of excavator hire and the operational requirements of excavation projects.
  • Strong network of contacts within the construction and infrastructure sectors in Melbourne.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
