Job Description:
Pricing Support RoleWe're seeking a Retail Pricing Intern to join our Retail Pricing team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a key member of our team, you'll provide prompt support to fulfil policy services requests, including financial administration of AIA's annuity portfolio.
- Respond promptly to policy services requests for AIA's retail products by performing calculations such as premium projections, premium breakdowns, surrender values, maturity values, death benefits, cancel & replace and new business special discounts.
- Assist with financial administration of AIA's annuity portfolio by calculating annuity payments, surrender values, and reporting.
- Update CPI, APL, RBA, and terminal bonus rates in various AIA systems and processes on a regular basis.
- Occasionally provide pricing support and perform other ad-hoc tasks, including remediation work and any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in second year of a Bachelor's degree majoring in Actuarial Studies or equivalent.
- Progress with Part 1 subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent exemptions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Persistent in finding solutions to issues but knows when to seek assistance.
