Senior Commercial Business Development Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Business Development Analyst to join our team at SDAH Saputo Dairy Australia (Holdings). As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and making strategic business decisions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support both financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will oversee the Domestic, Export, and Nutritionals Business Units as the Finance Business Partner for Sales Managers, collaborating closely with S&OP, Customer Excellence, and Sales teams to drive financial performance.

  • Budgeting and forecasting: validity of volume loads, commodity pricing, international commission calculation and analysis;
  • Month End Reconciliations: including key SAP reports, SAP journalling;
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management reporting including detailed analysis on key drivers on financial results;
  • Pricing maintenance and insights: working closely with the Export Senior Analyst on Commodity Pricing and tracking price listings for Nutritionals and Export Retail products;
  • Volume maintenance and insights: Partnering Sales & Operations Planning – relating to sales demand, inventory and left-to-sell reporting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Export, Domestic, and the Nutritionals business units to provide financial support and guidance;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales Managers, S&OP, Customer Excellence, and Sales teams;
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions;
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
