About the Role:
At Origin Energy, we're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our LPG new business development efforts in the Newcastle Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customer growth, expanding volume, and increasing sales margin in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve outstanding results
- Prospect and leverage network referrals to win new business
- Develop sales proposals and tender submissions within Origin Energy's policy and financial decision-making guidelines
- Make strategic decisions aligned to business unit objectives
- Develop a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and effective utilisation of the Salesforce Platform for daily sales activity and reporting
- Generate new business initiatives and recommendations
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both with customers and the team
- Ability to think on your feet and be solutions-focused
- Analytical ability and attention to detail
- Must have a current full Australian Driver's Licence, pass a medical and criminal history check
