At Origin Energy, we're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our LPG new business development efforts in the Newcastle Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customer growth, expanding volume, and increasing sales margin in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve outstanding results
  • Prospect and leverage network referrals to win new business
  • Develop sales proposals and tender submissions within Origin Energy's policy and financial decision-making guidelines
  • Make strategic decisions aligned to business unit objectives
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and effective utilisation of the Salesforce Platform for daily sales activity and reporting
  • Generate new business initiatives and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both with customers and the team
  • Ability to think on your feet and be solutions-focused
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Must have a current full Australian Driver's Licence, pass a medical and criminal history check
