Job Title: Project Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Defence vessel programs for in-service support and maintenance. This role is responsible for ensuring Defence programmes are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enable and empower project teams to deliver projects to cost, schedule, and quality standards that meet or exceed customer and contractual obligations.
  • Implement and deploy appropriate project management methodologies and tools to manage the project effectively.
  • Maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the project.
  • Foster and maintain stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrable 5+ years of experience working in performance-based contracting.
  • Previous experience in managing Defence/Commercial contracts.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Maritime Maintenance Operations – Marine/Ship Repair.
  • Project management experience in Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
  • Professional Project Management certification.
  • Demonstrable experience in Ship Management.
  • Relevant maritime discipline degree or trade qualification.
