We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to play a pivotal role in shaping our international operations as the Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region. This challenging and rewarding position requires a strong visionary with a passion for serving others and spreading the love of Christ through aviation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our programmes in the region, ensuring that we effectively meet the needs of isolated communities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for implementing strategic priorities and fostering a culture of collaboration and service delivery aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective long-term strategies and short-term objectives in alignment with our overall mission and priorities.
  • Lead and mentor the Asia Pacific Country Directors to facilitate programme performance growth and team development.
  • Oversee staff training and development to ensure they are cared for on a personal, spiritual, and corporate level.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including HR, financial management, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage actively in the Operations Leadership Team to address operational challenges and contribute to strategic planning across all regions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
  • Aptitude in verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning.
  • Ability to work within a values-driven framework, particularly when resolving conflicting priorities.
  • Extensive leadership and general management experience at a senior level in a charity/NGO context.
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Commitment to our evangelical Christian beliefs and values.
  • Familiarity with the Asia Pacific region and its cultural dynamics.
  • Experience working effectively in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
