Motor Claims Team Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Motor Claims Team Manager to join our team at Auto & General. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Motor Claims Consultants, prioritizing and allocating team portfolios, and conducting performance reviews.
Key Accountabilities:
- Team Development: Develop, coach, and motivate a team of Motor Claims Consultants to ensure they maintain skills and competencies, and provide a high standard of service.
- Portfolio Management: Prioritize and allocate team portfolios, including workload management.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews and assist with staffing requirements and recruitment.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point on complex claims and complaints.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Motor Claims operating model.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external). Ensure Auto & General policies and procedures are adhered to.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 1 year in a leadership role with a customer-facing organization or within a call centre, preferably with strong coaching experience.
- Motor Claims Experience: Experience with Motor Claims beneficial.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Problem Resolution: Good attention to detail and problem resolution skills.
- Process Development: Experience developing processes and procedures.
- Conflict Management: Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiate when required.
