Role Overview

The Maritime Account Director is responsible for driving Thales' Thought Leadership positioning, cultivating industry partnerships, and securing key opportunities in the maritime sector and with the Royal Australian Navy.

We welcome applications from former or currently serving Royal Australian Navy personnel as we recognize the value of reservist employee support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand business within the maritime industry
  • Enable and drive key growth opportunities across the maritime sector
  • Engage senior leadership and establish industry coalitions to partner on specific campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer needs and deliver solutions effectively
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services tailored to the maritime market
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Your Profile

We seek a seasoned professional with proven experience in senior sales or business development roles within the maritime industry.

Candidates should have an understanding of large-scale programs and deals exceeding AUD 20 million, in-depth knowledge of maritime market dynamics, and exceptional leadership skills.

A strong network within the maritime industry and the ability to travel as needed are also highly desirable.
