Our company, Kinexus, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team based in Sydney, NSW. As a pioneer in maritime research and development, we offer a unique opportunity to drive sales growth across various markets.

This key role requires the successful candidate to have a proven track record of driving sales and managing customer relationships. With a focus on government agencies, commercial entities, and recreational boat customers, the ideal candidate will have experience in planning and forecasting sales opportunities.

The Job Description

  • Develop and win new business by exploring and developing new customers in regions such as Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, and niches in Western Australia and Northern Territory.
  • Execute sales plans and maximize the portfolio of existing clients.
  • Report directly into the international sales team leader and maintain a traceable sales record.
  • Appreciate different markets, including Commercial, Government Agencies, and Recreational.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to target new markets and maintain market share.
  • Help shape tenders and bids and possess strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.

The Person We Need

  • Hold qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
  • Have a proven background in sales with account management experience.
  • Thrive in developing existing markets as well as targeting new markets.
  • Be passionate about winning and developing new business.
  • Possess the ability to speak to senior decision-makers with confidence.

We offer an estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic and diverse market to work in. If you are passionate about the maritime industry and have a knack for storytelling and customer engagement, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
