Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Thales' presence within the maritime industry.
- Pursue key growth opportunities across the maritime sector.
- Engage senior leadership to advance business objectives.
- Establish and maintain industry coalitions to foster collaboration on specific campaigns.
- Cultivate relationships with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services tailored to the maritime market.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in senior sales or business development roles within the maritime industry.
- Proven understanding of large-scale programs and deals exceeding AUD 20 million.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime market dynamics, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and guide teams in complex Matrix-style organisations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Able to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage in business development activities.
