At the Community Restorative Centre, we are dedicated to providing holistic support to individuals who have experienced victimisation and involvement with the criminal justice system.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Holistic Case Manager to join our Miranda Project team. As a key member of our team, you will work with female clients who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, providing specialist case management support to address their complex needs.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing trauma-informed care and working with women who have complex and compounding needs, such as homelessness, criminal justice system involvement, alcohol and other drug use, mental health, and experiences of trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic case management support to female clients who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's support network to develop and implement a tailored care plan.
  • Provide education and awareness about healthy relationships, cultural safety, and advocacy.
  • Conduct regular home visits and outreach sessions to provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • A current NSW Driver Licence.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and knowledge of issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD communities.
  • Knowledge and skills relating to child development, current child protection issues, and legislation.
  • Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
