About the Role

Dext, the market leader in accounting & bookkeeper automation software, is seeking a seasoned Sales professional to lead our growth strategy across New Business, Account Management, and Customer Success in Australia.

As a Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams, driving sales performance, and delivering world-class sales, account management, and customer success experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to achieve and over-deliver on Net New MRR targets, retention, upsell opportunities, and successful adoption of Dext products.
  • Partner across Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to develop and implement strategies for growth, retention, and upselling.
  • Analyse customer data to generate insights and performance reports, providing recommendations on strategies for maximising revenue.
  • Advocate for customer needs/issues across departments, ensuring seamless customer journeys and experience.
  • Identify points of risk and opportunity to drive retention and increase sales.

Requirements

  • A seasoned SaaS sales professional with 10+ years experience, including 4+ years in team management.
  • A proactive and results-oriented leader who consistently meets or exceeds targets.
  • Strong skills in coaching and developing talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and skilled at refining strategies based on sales metrics.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent business writing skills and commercial acumen.
