Job Overview

This exciting opportunity exists for a Srategic Organisational Development Consultant to join our team at The University of Queensland. As a key member of the HR Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational culture and employee engagement.

About This Role
  • Drive cultural transformation and capability development across the university
  • Lead the execution and improvement of UQ's Pulse Staff Engagement survey
  • Collaborate with HR's Client Partnering team to design and facilitate workshops
  • Provide expert coaching to senior leaders using data-driven insights
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in organisational development, proven expertise in driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, and capability development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the execution and continual improvement of UQ's Pulse Staff Engagement survey, including data analysis, reporting and the development of action plans to enhance year-on-year results.
  • Collaborating with HR's Client Partnering team to design and facilitate client-facing workshops focused on areas such as leadership, team development and cultural transformation.
  • Providing expert coaching to senior leaders across the University, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and foster organisational growth.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of broader organisational culture initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive staff engagement, performance and capability development.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in organisational development, with proven expertise in driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, and capability development.
  • Strong analytics skills and expertise using contemporary software platforms to analyse and manipulate data sets to generate actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and delivering impactful training sessions across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trusted relationships and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
