Senior Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join our team at The University of Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the day-to-day operation of our Centre of Research Excellence.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide research coordination, administrative, financial and engagement services, working closely with the CRE Director and Manager to achieve our goals. You will be responsible for coordinating research and operations, including reporting requirements, expenditure monitoring, and developing internal procedures. Additionally, you will support the CRE Manager with external research contracts, identify and develop funding applications, and collaborate with key stakeholders across the CRE.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree with relevant experience in a tertiary/research environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training. Previous experience in a Centre of Research Excellence will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated project coordination experience within a university/research environment, with experience in planning, monitoring, and research administration, including financial and compliance management of research grants.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the University's financial management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under general direction, and within a team environment, using initiative and judgement.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated high-level experience with collaborative partnerships, and a well-developed capacity to consult, collaborate, and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal skills and well-developed skills in written, oral, and digital communication.
- Excellent accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a base salary in the range $89,861.38 - $96,402.32 per annum, plus 17% Superannuation. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including:
