Job Description

The University of Queensland seeks a talented and experienced Senior Consultant to join its Human Resources Division. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, and capability development across the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution and continual improvement of UQ's Pulse Staff Engagement survey, including data analysis, reporting, and the development of action plans to enhance year-on-year results.
  • Collaborate with HR's Client Partnering team to design and facilitate client-facing workshops focused on areas such as leadership, team development, and cultural transformation.
  • Provide expert coaching to senior leaders across the university, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and foster organisational growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of broader organisational culture initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive staff engagement, performance, and capability development.
About The Role

This permanent position is based at The University of Queensland and offers a range of benefits, including 26 weeks paid parental leave, 17% superannuation contributions, and access to flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in organisational development, with proven expertise in driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, and capability development.
  • Strong analytics skills and expertise using contemporary software platforms to analyse and manipulate data sets to generate actionable insights and create informative reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and delivering impactful training sessions across diverse teams and leadership levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trusted relationships and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive, independent approach to managing multiple priorities, with a commitment to continuous improvement and upholding UQ's values of integrity, respect, and inclusivity.
