Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for Registry Officers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately code cancer notifications.
- Provide technical support to Registry Officers, addressing any coding queries or concerns they may have.
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and consistency of cancer coding.
- Participate in special projects related to public health surveillance and provide advice to other Registry Officers.
- Strong understanding of cancer coding principles and practices.
- Excellent training and facilitation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address coding errors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Registry Officers and other stakeholders.
