About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Officer to join our Workforce Skills & Training team at CITB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our programs and initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, responding to enquiries, applications, and claims in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process applications and claims in compliance with CITB policies and funding conditions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administer CITB number registrations and variations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement processes, identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting solutions.
  • Provide administrative support to CITB programs and initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactively demonstrate a commitment to WHS, prioritizing the safety of colleagues, visitors, clients, and yourself.
  • Contribute to the success of our business through collaboration, high performance, and respectful working relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years administration experience, preferably in the vocational or education sector.
  • Experience in customer service-oriented roles, including complaint handling, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and respond to changing situations in a flexible manner.
  • Exposure to policy interpretation and the application of administrative procedures and processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with database management and report creation.
  • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact at Senior Manager level and represent CITB in external contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively, use initiative, and develop solutions for complex tasks.
  • Highly developed time management, organisational, and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
