About the Role

As an Eligibility Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that claims are managed efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and determine the eligibility of claims, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess claims for eligibility and make recommendations for approval or denial;
• Conduct thorough investigations to gather necessary information and evidence;
• Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical practitioners to ensure seamless claim processing;
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex claim issues;
• Monitor and report on claim trends and statistics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or human resources.
