About the Role

The Coffee Roaster is a pivotal position at our specialty coffee company, accountable for delivering exceptional quality in every roast.

  • Develop expertise in sensory profile specifications to inform roasting decisions.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination with team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Implement measures to minimize waste generation during the roasting process.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards to prevent accidents and defects.
  • Pursue ongoing education on coffee origins, roast profiles, and tastes.

Requirements
  • Able to maintain focus and attention during work hours.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 24 kg, with training provided.
  • Australian working rights with unlimited work hours.
