Green Bean Inventory Assistant

As a key member of our warehouse and roastery team, you will be responsible for ensuring all green beans are loaded into hoppers and stored in accordance with documented processes, maintaining food safety and quality standards at all times. This role involves the safe operation of forklifts and walk-behind stackers, as well as maintaining a clean and organized working environment within the warehouse and roastery.

This position is based at our headquarters where we roast our beans daily. You will work Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate labelling and inventory management of Jacky bins, bulk bags, small bags and pallets.
  • Load hoppers/Jacky bins with green beans in accordance with safety standards and SOPs.
  • Guarantee consistent supply of green beans to the roastery.
  • Pick and store Jacky bins in the roastery to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Complete deliveries in Sage and ensure all orders are picked on time and in full.
  • Verify and record all inbound green bean deliveries daily, adhering to relevant documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively regarding quality and safety issues to stakeholders.
