About the Role

The State Maintenance Manager, NSW plays a crucial role in supporting and providing oversight regarding maintaining quality upkeep and maintenance standards across all properties within the region and ensuring all sites are operating in a safe and efficient manner.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance to maintenance teams onsite including direct support to maintenance managers.
  • Collaboration and clear communication with all stakeholders including but not limited to the Regional General Manager, Head of Operations, Meriton Group National Maintenance Team, National Work, Health & Safety Manager and Meriton Trades and Contractors.
  • Working with the sites in aligning expectations, offering support and providing clear direction and communication surrounding business objectives.
  • Ensuring alignment with brand standards, upholding the highest level of upkeep and maintenance across all properties.

Requirements

  • White Card
  • A valid NSW Driver's license and willingness to drive to various locations
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to and embrace technology and programs such as MaintainX
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving approach and high level of expertise in leak detection
  • Results-driven with strong experience in project management, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
  • Prior experience in managing teams in a complex environment
  • Experience in creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to create and hold teams accountable to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
