Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct clients to the relevant staff members
- Screen clients for referrals and eligibility requirements, utilizing your knowledge of Client Management Systems
- Register new clients and update existing client demographics in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records and manage multiple client management systems simultaneously
- Ensure daily tasks are completed and signed off, including processing client service fees
- Coordinate appointments, reminders, and waitlists to minimize delays
- Maintain a clean and professional front-of-house area, providing a welcoming environment for clients
- Provide administrative support to program areas, as needed
- Assist with petty cash requests and account reconciliations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in reception work, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of Client Management Systems and ability to learn new software quickly
