About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists within Suncorp Group for a highly skilled and experienced Dispute Resolution Manager to join our External Customer Relations team in Brisbane or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of insurance complaints referred to external dispute resolution schemes, providing exceptional customer service and achieving meaningful outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions to customers and stakeholders, leveraging strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and industry knowledge to drive results.
  • Prepare and submit quality and timely reports to AFCA, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at AFCA and participate in industry forums to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Analyse and determine the appropriate course of action for managing complaints, utilising industry knowledge, delegations, and legal principles to drive effective decision-making.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and dispute resolution skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Strong industry experience in insurance or a related field, preferably with a focus on dispute resolution and EDR schemes.
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and tools quickly, with a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • A desire to balance customer-centricity with commercial acumen, driving business results while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, or a related field will be highly regarded, but not essential.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, dependent on experience and location.
