Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the daily production of fruit farming, including apples, pears, and plums. Key responsibilities include coordinating activities with workers, planning and implementing new systems to increase productivity, and maintaining safe working conditions.

Specific duties include:

  • Planning and executing daily activities to ensure efficient farm operations;
  • Engaging in ground preparation, cultivation, fertilization, nursery growing, and planting trees;
  • Pruning trees to promote healthy growth and productivity;
  • Harvesting fruits according to size and ripeness;
  • Maintaining trellis systems and irrigation infrastructure;
  • Spraying chemicals to control diseases and pests;
  • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment;
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining relevant records.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Agriculture or at least 3 years' experience in a similar field;
  • Knowledge of safely operating tractors and farm machinery;
  • A current Chemical Users Certificate and a valid car license.
Salary and Benefits
