About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Operations Manager to join our team at Skilled Jobs Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in providing specialist diesel mechanical, servicing, and repair services to our customers.

About Us: Our client is one of the largest truck dealerships serving Shepparton and the surrounding area for over 20 years. They offer a range of services including diesel mechanical repairs, servicing, and parts sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Manage, motivate, and develop customer service across the organisation with a focus on staff in sales and after-sales services.
  • Service Delivery: Plan and implement after-sales services and follow up on customer satisfaction levels of services provided, making improvements as necessary.
  • Parts and Service Liaison: Liaise with the parts section and service agents to ensure high standards of service delivery to customers.
  • Policies and Procedures: Review and develop policies and procedures around customer relations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Follow up on customer satisfaction levels and provide training to service staff and technicians.
  • Repair Orders and Costings: Oversee customer repair orders and costings.
  • Communication: Ensure customers are contacted by staff in a timely manner.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Administer the efficient day-to-day operations in the Service Advisor departments.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Organisational Skills: Exhibit excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and implement effective services.
  • Negotiation Skills: Possess strong negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with parts sections and service agents.
  • Communication Skills: Display strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff.
  • Innovative: Show innovation and integrity in all aspects of the role.
  • Timeliness: Demonstrate timeliness and efficiency in all tasks and responsibilities.
