We are seeking an experienced Claims Administration Director to lead our team of claims administration experts and drive innovation in the Workers Compensation industry. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for guiding your team to success through effective workflow and people management.
About the RoleThe Claims Admin Team Manager will oversee the daily workflow to ensure efficient output and maintain high customer service standards. You will provide engaging leadership, coaching, and feedback on technical, business, and performance-related issues, specifically with entry-level administrative staff.
You will collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify skill gaps and assist in upskilling your team. The successful candidate will foster a team-oriented culture focused on achievement and service excellence, encouraging creativity and continuous improvement through mentoring and coaching.
Key Responsibilities- Workflow Management: Oversee the team's daily workflow to ensure efficient output and maintain high customer service standards.
- Leadership and Coaching: Provide engaging leadership, coaching, and feedback on technical, business, and performance-related issues.
- Skill Development: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify skill gaps and assist in upskilling the team.
- Team Morale: Foster a team-oriented culture focused on achievement and service excellence.
- Mentorship: Encourage creativity and continuous improvement through mentoring and coaching.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a People Manager role with outstanding leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and the Claims Admin process.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and external parties.
- Collaboration: Experience with partnering with internal stakeholders to determine how to best support various areas of the business.
