Job OverviewThe Claims and Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for assisting the National Claim Administrator in completing Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury Insurance claims administration for all states. This role is based in Coolaroo with a hybrid working model, offering a perfect balance of flexibility and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Obligations: Process and ensure Visy meets its administrative obligations under relevant state legislation, providing timely and accurate claims administration and processing of relevant documentation relating to Workers' Compensation, Salary Continuance, and other claims categories as directed.
- Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service and build and maintain relationships with business units, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Performance Optimization: Drive insurer/agent performance to ensure the best possible processing and turnaround of documentation forwarded, ensuring efficient claim handling and settlement.
- Issue Escalation: Escalate complex administrative issues to the National Claims Administrator for discussion and review, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Experience: 2-3 years of administration experience, with previous experience working in a Workcover admin role desirable but not essential.
- Skillset: Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal), strong computer skills in Microsoft programs, and willingness to learn Visy's systems and programs.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive and positive attitude, ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, excellent work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
