Administration Officer Infrastructure Services

We are seeking an experienced professional to assist with infrastructure services in Western Australia.

About the Role:

  • Provide administrative support for the Director Infrastructure Services and collaborate with other Managers and officers within the Division.
  • Effectively manage day-to-day activities, assist with research, report preparation, correspondence, presentations, and agenda items for Council and other Forums and meetings.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, binding documents, conference registrations, airline and accommodation bookings, and processing traffic infringements.
  • Manage electronic orders and requisitions, prepare and process invoices, and coordinate inward and outward correspondence.
  • Respond to incoming calls, handle general enquiries, take phone messages, or transfer customers to relevant officers for action.

About You:

  • Previous experience working in a secretarial/administrative role, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to communicate with various people and groups.
  • Organisational and administrative skills to effectively prioritise projects and tasks, meeting strict deadlines and achieving outcomes.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills, exercising initiative and good judgment.
  • Familiarity with civil construction works and exposure to contract administration and tendering processes is essential.
