About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Development Specialist to join our team at Xero. As a Partner Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our Partner Sales channel, which aims to help accounting and bookkeeping firms succeed in migrating clients to the Xero platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales Technical Demonstrations: Provide expert demonstrations of Xero solutions, including Xero HQ, Xero Business, Xero Tax, and more, to shape and close pre-qualified deals.
  • Business Planning: Work closely with our Sales team to develop business plans for Partners and sales plans for the territory.
  • Implementation: Implement online strategies developed in conjunction with Account Managers for each Partner.
  • Customer Support: Engage in regular meetings with sales staff to agree on sales and project priorities, handle Partner technical queries, and assist with data conversions.
  • Resource Creation: Create resources, such as processes and videos, to support frequently asked questions from Partners.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Intimate knowledge of accounting practices and related systems.
  • Training experience and accounting software knowledge.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, tax returns, and compliance work.
  • Understanding of CRM systems.
  • Passion for SaaS and the online accounting market.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create a strong rapport with Partners.
  • Initiative and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Process-driven mindset.
