Drive Business Growth with Strategic Partnerships

We're seeking a skilled Partner Development Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for forging new strategic partnerships to drive business growth and strengthen Lightspeed's brand in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong Lightspeed Partner community in APAC, focusing on retail and hospitality sectors.
  • Shape and execute partnership development strategies, identifying and prospecting new partners aligned with Lightspeed's goals.
  • Manage inbound and outbound partner outreach, including website leads and industry event connections, to expand the partner network.
  • Oversee partner onboarding, training, integration, and go-to-market strategies, from contract negotiation to implementation.
  • Evaluate and drive market share growth, increase brand awareness, and boost sales for Lightspeed products.
  • Provide regular reporting and forecasting to keep leadership and partners informed.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Lightspeed's product suite, assisting partners in applying solutions for retail and hospitality operations.

Requirements:

  • Prior sales experience in software sales (retail or restaurant software experience is a bonus but not needed).
  • Proven experience in prospecting and outbound sales, from initiating discovery meetings to negotiating contracts and onboarding.
  • Ability to manage strategic relationships across various levels of organisations, including product, technology, support, and business.
  • Good understanding of partner channel dynamics, from strategy to sales and implementation.
