Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Services Manager to join our team at Amazon Australia. As a key member of our Strategic Account Services (SAS) program, you will be responsible for working closely with our Selling Partners to help them grow their business on Amazon.

About the Role

The SAS program is designed to improve the customer and Selling Partner experience on Amazon by providing leading-edge strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach. As a Strategic Account Services Manager, you will be responsible for developing and converting a sales pipeline using a highly consultative and data-driven approach, as well as onboarding and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers within prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the SAS program and service offerings.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective Selling Partners based on a clear understanding of our Selling Partners and their needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of Selling Partners to drive individual strategies, manage timelines, expectations, and owning communications, leveraging a strong understanding of Amazon programs, tools, and processes.
  • Produce profound business recommendations and actionable insights by using a wide set of analytical tools to interpret customer data and make recommendations to maximize the potential of assigned Selling Partners.
  • Implement and track metrics to measure success of sellers in your portfolio, using these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Prepare and present performance deep dives to facilitate regular discussions around business progress, current challenges, and strategic plans with Selling Partners.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the competitive environment, including knowledge of complementary and/or competing product offerings.
  • Lead additional projects such as conducting competitive analysis, developing content, inventing processes, and tools to the benefit of internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing.
  • Experience within e-commerce or retail fields.
  • Experience in selling nascent products/services into new markets.
