Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to manage a well-organized, medium-sized portfolio based in the Kimberley Region. This is a part-time opportunity for someone who wants to work fewer hours, but it can also turn into a full-time role with the growth of the portfolio.

About the Role

You will be responsible for nurturing strong owner-tenant relationships, leading with expertise, and offering top-tier service. Your central focus will be on listing and advertising properties, conducting open inspections and private viewings, building and maintaining relationships with owners, tenants, colleagues, and contractors, and performing lease renewals, tenant selection, property appraisals, routines, ingoings, outgoings, repairs, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • List and Advertise Properties: Effectively market properties to attract potential tenants and buyers.
  • Conduct Open Inspections and Private Viewings: Showcase properties to interested parties and provide excellent customer service.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with owners, tenants, colleagues, and contractors to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Perform Lease Renewals and Tenant Selection: Coordinate lease renewals and tenant selection processes to ensure timely and effective results.
  • Carry Out Property Appraisals and Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular property appraisals and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure properties remain in good condition.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Property Management Registration: Possess current property management registration and a deep understanding of industry regulations.
  • Experience in Property Management Software: Have experience working with property management software, such as Property Tree.
  • Initiative and Industry Passion: Demonstrate initiative and a genuine passion for the property management industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • High Level of Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate a high level of care factor towards clients.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess highly efficient negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues promptly.
