Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join our team in Broome. This is a part-time opportunity that can grow into a full-time role as the portfolio expands.

About the Role

As a Property Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a medium-sized portfolio of properties based in Broome, Derby, and the Kimberley Region. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with owners, tenants, colleagues, and contractors while providing top-tier service.

Duties
  • Listing and advertising properties to attract potential buyers and renters
  • Conducting open inspections and private viewings to showcase properties
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with owners, tenants, colleagues, and contractors to ensure seamless property management
  • Coordinating lease renewals, tenant selection, and property appraisals to maximize property value
  • Managing routines, ingoings, and outgoings to maintain accurate records
  • Ensuring prompt repairs and maintenance to prevent property damage
  • Representing the company in court hearings when required
  • Effectively managing rental arrears to minimize financial losses
Skills & Experience
  • Property Management Registration is essential for this role
  • Prior experience in property management software such as Property Tree is highly desirable
  • You must have initiative and a passion for the property industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective relationship-building
  • A high level of care factor and customer service is expected
  • Highly efficient negotiation and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role
