Job Summary:

Hughes and Jones Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the Southern Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Southern Region, working closely with our partner community to effectively manage customer relationships and business outcomes.
  • Account Management: Manage existing customer relationships, developing and executing account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and execute sales strategies, leveraging complex sales methodologies and tools to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales targets, managing sales performance and providing regular updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience in the ICT industry, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Previous experience selling Cybersecurity solutions, with a strong understanding of complex solution sales.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience selling Cloud Computing solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.
  • Professional Services: Experience selling Professional Services, with a strong understanding of service-based sales.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial and technical acumen, with the ability to easily translate business issues to IT requirements and vice versa.
