Position Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Room Attendants. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel setting with a significant number of rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas.
- Perform assigned cleaning tasks to meet brand standards throughout the property.
- Manage the transfer of soiled linen and disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with established guidelines.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to high-quality service. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia and be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cleaning, particularly in a hotel environment, is highly preferred.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Good communication skills and comfort with using a two-way radio.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Understanding of safe chemical handling and manual handling practices.
- Must possess valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available.
