Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected throughout their stay.
  • Assist with various front office tasks, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts, ensuring all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions securely, adhering to strict accounting procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to the growth and success of the property and the company.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation standards, with a focus on maintaining a professional and approachable image.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 200+ room hotel, with a minimum of 6 months' experience in front office reception.
  • Opera Cloud experience is highly valued, but not required.
  • Current Australian work rights are essential.
