We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Randstad. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming image of our medical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and other staff members, responding to enquiries and providing information in a timely and professional manner.
- Support administrative and nursing staff as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist with the orientation of new staff members and provide training and guidance as required.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of office documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide backup and assistance to other administrative officers to ensure continued provision of client service.
- Manage telephone and document communications professionally and communicate with team members in line with practice procedures.
- Participate in assessment and continuous improvement of professional and personal development, attending in-service and external lectures as required.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with sensitive and demanding public enquiries.
- Proven administrative experience and ability to adapt to new systems.
- Experience working within the medical industry, preferably in a Surgeon's office.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other computerized work processing packages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience processing patient payments and submitting claims to relevant authorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with the team.
