Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team at SA Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the overall management of the Patient Master Index (PMI), ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinate patient registration, alerts, and medical record tracking components.
  • Develop and review organisational policies and procedures to maintain PMI integrity.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Liaise with the Department of Health and Ageing on data integrity errors.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Word processing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in data management and healthcare information systems.
  • A strong understanding of relevant health information standards and legislation.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
