Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Paediatric Medicine team at the Women's and Children's Health Network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Paediatric Medicine team, including patient bookings, appointment scheduling, and data entry.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to SA Health policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with the organization of clinics, theatre bookings, and procedure scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely reports, statistics, and other administrative documents as required.
- Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in a hospital or medical office setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
