About the RoleThe Performance Director is responsible for driving performance excellence and strategic risk management. This role oversees the development and implementation of performance frameworks, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Establish and maintain contemporary risk management and quality assurance frameworks, policies, and strategies that meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Enterprise Risk Register to ensure accurate identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
- Provide expert advice on governance, compliance, and emerging risks to inform strategic decision-making and critical issues response.
- Lead the coordination of internal audit activities, supporting the Chief Internal Auditor in planning and executing audit plans, and monitoring action items to address key recommendations.

- Oversee the integration and refinement of performance metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to group-level strategic planning processes, providing high-quality governance, compliance, and risk management insights.
- Support the development and oversight of key performance measures, collaborating with senior directors and directors.
- Integrate performance and reporting inputs to create a comprehensive view of organisational performance.
